According to the announcement, in 2020, Kohler headquarters decided to place the Kohler brand’s only online sales organization in China (i.e. the official Kohler Tmall flagship store) under Kohler Shanghai Co. In order to meet the logistics needs of the e-commerce business, we are planning to build a fully automated and unmanned intelligent warehouse on the reserved land.
The project plans to invest a total of 40 million yuan, all self-funded, mainly for civil construction funds. After the expansion of a plant construction area of 12000 square meters, with a capacity area of 24000 square meters, the total construction area of 50,349.11 square meters, with a capacity area of 74772 square meters, after the expansion of the floor area ratio of 0.74. After the completion of the project, the annual sales of the e-commerce business can reach more than 100 million yuan, the total land annual tax amount of more than 35 million yuan.
It is reported that the warehouse management system (WMS) transformation project, including automatic guided transport vehicle (AGV) automatic dispatch system, video recognition system (RFID), two-dimensional code identification system data center, are Kohler company (Intelligent Manufacturing Department) independent development and design, is the global Kohler Group’s a model model, but also the current international leading logistics system. The smart warehouse construction provides hardware support for the introduction of Kohler’s e-commerce business in Shanghai.
